Chapter 111 DINNER DATE

Grey pretty much occupied my mind the whole day. I tried to push him off my mind but to no avail. There are things that the more you get rid of, the more it refuses to leave your mind. It's exactly what is happening to me. Despite the great distraction, I managed to finish things earlier than I expected. Glancing at my wristwatch and seeing an hour was left before Grey arrived to pick me up, I rose from my swivel chair and fixed my appearance in front of the mirror. I have no idea where he was taking me but I want to look presentable. I thought to myself and applied a thin layer of lipstick until my lips were shiny and red.

Unfastening the pink ribbon securing my long hair into a ponytail, I let my curly hair cascade down my shoulders like a waterfall. I ran my fingers through the soft strands until there was not a single tied knot left then surveyed my reflection once more. A satisfied smile crossed my lips upon seeing the woman standing opposite me in the full-length mirror.
