Chapter 12 Taking back her power

It is finally Friday. She is both looking forward to and dreading this day. Today she will get rid of Anthony. He will no longer hold her down.

She no longer has to face his abuse or that is what she thought.

She is proud of herself for walking away from a toxic and abusive marriage. Old Rosalyn would not have even thought about it but the new Rosalyn has achieved it.

Her falling down the stairs is a blessing in disguise for her. In a way, she is thankful to Anthony because he was the one who pushed her. If he hadn’t pushed her, she wouldn’t have had a rebirth. She would have been still trapped in the endless loop.

Anthony still hasn’t come yet. It’s 9:30 am. He was supposed to be here at 9. She is getting irritated. Her annoyance keeps on increasing with every passing minute.
