Chapter 24 Kicking him in the nuts

Caleb was listening to the whole conversation. He knew it is wrong and he shouldn't do that but in the end, curiosity wins. He thought she was taking too much so he came to check up on her. He heard her talking to Iris. He was about to go when he heard Anthony’s name being mentioned. He halted in his step.

“Is it possible Anthony fell in love with you?” He heard Iris asking Rosalyn.

He feels like his heart is going to stop any minute. He is both looking forward to and dreading her answer. He feels his nerves creeping in. Does she still have feelings for him? She had a dream about him last night. He heard her cries of Anthony.

She told him that she doesn’t love Anthony anymore but he still has some doubts. The love she had for Anthony does not go away easily. Anthony was stupid not to acknowledge it.
