Caleb:
“Don’t go, Rosalyn”
“Let me go Caleb” She tried to pull out my grip but I held on her tighter. Her petite hands fit perfectly in my hands.
“Caleb I am tired and I just want to go home. I have had my fair share of taunts today I don’t think I can handle anymore. Whatever you want to say just save it please”
I know she is tired. I couldn’t hear everything the bitch was saying to her but based on the limited talk I hear she was spitting venom. I have never raised my hand to a woman. But If I did, I am sure she is going to the first one.
Rosalyn has started crying. I put her head on my shoulder. Her little cries have turned into a whimper. Her tears are soaking my shirt. I keep on rubbing my hands on her back to soothe her.
“Let’s go” I pulled her into a standing position.
“Where to,” she asked.
“Do you trust me?” I looked into her eyes.
