Caleb groaned earning a chuckle from Rosalyn who was beneath him. He got off her and picked up his phone.
“What?” He practically screamed into the phone.
“Sir, where you busy? Did I disturb you?” Caleb wanted to tell him yes but decided otherwise. He modified his tone and asked, “No, why?”
“Sir, did you forget?”
“Forget what?”
“You have a very important meeting today.”
“Oh yeah, I forgot. Fix up the meeting room I will come in a bit.” Caleb threw his phone on the bed.
“What happened?” Rosalyn was covered in a duvet and Caleb wanted nothing else just to be with her.
“Yeah, he was giving me the reminder of the meeting.”
“Meeting on a weekend?” Rosalyn asked.
“work is work.” Caleb shrugged.
“I don’t want to go.” He hid his face in Rosalyn’s neck. “Get up big boy, you just told me work is work.”
Caleb stayed rooted in his place founding shelter in her embrace. Just as his phone rang again.
“What now?” It was his assistant again.
