Chapter 86 Little Saviour

During the night, Rosalyn heard groaning. At first, she thought it was a segment of her imagination so she ignored it. As she was drifting off to deeper sleep she heard it again. She sat up straight and turned off the bedside lamp. The groaning was coming from the other side of the bed.

Caleb’s forehead was wet with sweat. He was mumbling some indigenous words. Rosalyn could not understand a word of what he was saying. She quickly realized he was having a nightmare.

Flashback:

Caleb sees himself in a dark spot. Is it a room or somewhere else? He has no idea. No light is coming. It is pitch black. He closed his eyes. Maybe it is a dream and not reality. When he opened his eyes, he was still in the dark room.

How did he get here? The last thing he remembers is being tucked into the bed by his mother. He tried to move his hands but they were bound behind his back. He attempted to pull his hand out of the ropes but they were very tight. They did not even budge. He wants to cry.
