Chapter 109 Truth out in the open

Caleb was tending to Rosalyn and Anthony was standing over him watching the whole scene unfold with worried eyes. Right at the moment he would do anything to switch places with Caleb. He gets to touch her but he can not. He gave up the right himself when he signed the papers. Some person in his back spoke up.

“It is like a high school prom incident from 10 years ago in reverse.” He said in a loud voice.

Chanel froze up as she heard this. She was wishing Anthony did not hear it but his body language suggested that he did. His complete demeanor changed. His head whipped back and he turned his face to where the voice had come from. He starts walking towards the man. He wanted to ask what he meant by that.

Chanel wished the earth would open up and swallow her. He is going to tell him. How does he know? She checked clearly that no one was there besides Rosalyn and Anthony was unconscious the whole time.
