Chapter 124 Hate

She did not know this. Grandpa has never mentioned anything about this. She saw Grandpa treating him differently. But it was not because he loved him any less. It was mostly to correct him. His methods might have been harsh but his intention was not.

"I wanted to prove to everyone even to my goddamn father that the children of mistress can do something big too," Ray shouted pointing to himself. "But guess what I failed." His hands fell limp on his side.

At this point, Rosalyn is not angry at him anymore. Standing in front of her is a man who has gone through so much that it broke him. He has lost sense of what is right and what is wrong.

"Ray grandpa loved you." Rosalyn tried to hold to shoulder to comfort him but he jerked her away.

"Oh please, Rosalyn. Do you think I am blind? He has always treated me like a burden, a nuisance that he can not wait to get rid of." There is so much negativity in Ray's mind. He believes that everyone judges him as being an illegitimate child.
