Chapter 118 A long wait

Rosalyn is waiting outside the door. The nurses are taking Grandpa's vitals and have asked her to stop outside for a few minutes. Caleb took her hand and started rubbing. She was so grateful for his presence. She does not understand how he always knows whenever she needs a shoulder. It is like some weird telepathic connection.

After her blunder with Anthony will Grandpa trust her again. He does not even know about her relationship with Caleb let alone her decision to marry him. She has hinted about him in the past meetings but he has not given her any reaction.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Caleb asked when he saw her lost in thoughts. She has been dozing off quite a lot lately. Lost in her dreams. She looks visibly fine, eating ok. When he asked her she shrugged it off saying it was company stress. Maybe he is reading too much into it and there is nothing like that.

"OK, you can go in. He is ready to see you." The nurse said when she came out.
