Vivian’s POV…
When I finally wake up, it is four in the afternoon. The room is bathed in a soft, warm light that seeps through the partially drawn curtains.
My body feels heavy and lethargic as if I have been carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. I slowly drag myself out of bed and walk into the bathroom, my muscles protesting with each step.
I take a moment to gaze at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes are tired, and my body is carrying the marks of last night’s craziness. I splash some cold water on my face, hoping to invigorate my senses.
After freshening up, I walk out of the room. The aroma of freshly prepared food fills the air. The servant has laid out a simple yet comforting meal for me. I sit down, savoring each bite.
As I finish eating, a sense of restlessness takes over. I step outside into the garden.
