Serena’s POV
“I like your hair, mommy.”
I paused while putting Millie’s seatbelt on when she noticed my hair and touched it. I chuckled and locked her seatbelt before I stared at her face and fixed her hair.
“Really? I just had a haircut. Does it suit mommy?”
I cut my hair yesterday and its length has reached just my shoulders. I was praised at the salon yesterday, saying short hair fits me perfectly. I didn’t believe it until Millie noticed it and I’m glad she liked it.
She giggled, “My mommy is so pretty!”
I gently pinched her nose. “Alright! Let’s go or we’ll be late.”
“I don’t wanna be late! Let’s go, mommy!”
I smiled and closed the door of the backseat before I opened the door to the driver seat. I glanced at Millie’s grandparents watching us from the gate of the house. I just bowed at them before I entered the car and drove off to Millie’s school.
