“Serena!” We were interrupted by Selena's voice. She ran down the staircase and immediately hugged me so tight. “Oh, God! I was so scared! You scared me! What happened to you? Oh my God!”


I lifted my arm and caressed her back gently. How did I forget that I have a cousin, an aunt and uncle who will worry if something happens to me?
