Chapter 138 Devil's Den

Serena's POV

The door wasn't locked. The wind was blowing aggressively through the window. The green scenery looks fascinating, and yet I don't feel anything but emptiness.

Dan has been holding me prisoner in this place. Two days without my family felt so sad and empty. I wanted to leave and go back to my family and tell them that everything's fine but I’m worried about my cousin Selena.

Dan promises to release Selena, but I don't trust him. I will find out where he's hiding her and after that, I will kill him myself.

“I got good news!” The door swung open, followed by that voice.

I didn't take my eyes off of the window and just ignored him.

Dan stood beside me and lifted my face using his finger on my chin. I pushed him away and glared.

He chuckled and crossed his arms. “Well, guess what?”

I pressed my lips together, refusing to answer.
