Chapter 70 What do you want?

IRENE'S POV

I woke up to a pounding headache, my body aching as I tried to move. The air smelled damp, stale, and I realized I was lying on a cold, hard floor. I blinked, my vision slowly adjusting to the dim light around me. It didn’t take long for the memories to rush back—being ambushed, the blow to my head, and everything going black.

I shifted and felt the tug of ropes around my wrists. I was really scared, but I forced myself to remain calm, assessing the situation. That’s when I heard a voice, mocking and amused.

"Look who’s finally awake," one of the Rogues sneered. I turned my head to see a man leaning against the wall, arms crossed and a wicked grin on his face. "Have a good nap, Luna?"

I straightened up, trying to ignore the dizziness.

"What do you want from me?" My heart raced as I spoke.

He chuckled darkly. "You’re supposed to be the Luna of Gerard Wolf Pack, aren’t you? That makes you our golden ticket."

I frowned, feeling anger rise alongside the fear.
