IRENE'S POV
The next morning, as the soft light of dawn filtered through the curtains, memories of last night slowly crept back into my mind. A warm flush spread across my cheeks as I recalled the wildness that had overtaken me, how I’d taken the lead in a way I never had before. It was raw, intense, and... thrilling. I bit my lip, feeling a little shy about it now in the soft quiet of the morning.
I glanced over at Leon, still sleeping beside me, his chest rising and falling steadily. He looked so peaceful, so strong, even in his sleep. I let out a small breath, unsure of how I’d face him after everything. But before I could slip out of bed, Leon’s eyes fluttered open, his blue eyes locking onto mine.
“Good morning,” he murmured, his voice husky with sleep as a lazy smile spread across his lips.
I smiled back, trying to ignore the heat rising to my cheeks. “Good morning.”
