LEONARD'S POV:
I rushed into the office, feeling the tension in the air. My employees were clustered together, eyes glued to their phones, their expressions a mix of confusion, accusation and concern.
"What am I paying you for, to stand around doing nothing?" I barked, my frustration bubbling over.
"Sorry, Sir," they muttered in unison before hastily returning to their desks.
I marched into my office, the irritation gnawing at me. As I waited for my secretary, a sense of unease settled in.
When she finally appeared, I didn't waste time. "What is it?" I demanded.
"Sir, Mr. Lewis has just withdrawn his shares from the company," she said, her voice trembling slightly.
My brows furrowed in disbelief. "What do you mean Mr. Lewis withdrew his shares?" I asked, my eyes narrowing as I noticed the green folder she clutched tightly.
"But earlier, when you called, you mentioned something else entirely. Are you playing games with me?" My voice rose, sharp with authority.
