LIORA'S POV
I’d let my feelings for Ronan dictate how I acted, and it was clear that I’d grown distant and cold yesterday. What an irony! instead of going even closer to him. But today, I was determined to bridge that gap. If I couldn’t tell him how I felt, at least I could show him by my kind gestures. That’s why I decided to make something special for him: small chops and snacks that he could stock in his fridge.
As I hummed to myself while mixing the dough, I tried to focus on the task at hand instead of the thoughts swirling in my head.
“Liora, what have you been up to? I’ve been hearing you clattering around, and it’s been disturbing my beauty sleep,” Becky’s voice rang out as she wandered into the kitchen in her pajamas, still groggy from sleep.
“I’m making snacks for Ronan,” I replied, keeping my tone casual as I continued to mix.
“Oh, that’s sweet. He’s one lucky guy,” Becky said, grabbing a roll of vegetable spring rolls and popping it into her mouth.
