Chapter 172 BREAKING POINT!

LIORA’S POV

The ambulance swayed as it sped down the rain-soaked roads, the siren screaming above the pounding in my chest. I clutched Ronan’s hand like it was the only thing tethering me to reality, my nails digging into his skin with each contraction.

And for the first time, I'm grateful that he was here, by my side.

“You’re doing great,” he murmured, his voice strained but steady. “Just keep breathing, Liora. I’ve got you.”

I wanted to believe him, but the pain was relentless, tearing through me with barely enough time to catch my breath before the next wave hit. Sweat mixed with the rain on my skin, and my entire body trembled as I fought against the panic rising inside me.

“I can’t do this,” I gasped, tears spilling down my cheeks.

“Yes, you can.” He leaned closer, his forehead nearly touching mine. “You’re the strongest person I know, and I’m not letting you give up now.”
