“He was rushed to Collision medical center after the hit.” Carlos type on his phone for a few seconds before saying. “It’s only a thirty minutes drive from here.”


“Suspend all my work for today and cancel all meetings,” Ivory began dishing out instructions as she picked her coat and bag and started making her way to the door. “Get the car ready. I’m heading out.”


“No need.” Just as she was about to exit her office, she felt a hand grip her shoulder and stopped her.


When she turned around, she saw that the hand belonged to Gadreel, and he was the one who had stopped her.
