"Lucien, let's get a divorce," I said in a peremptory tone that was long overdue, the most decisive farewell to this absurd marriage.
We had been married for exactly three years—three years that, for me, were filled with nothing but endless loneliness and torment.

I smiled happily at Alma, "Thank you, mum.”


When I went out from the villa, I saw Damon and Lucien standing under a magnolia tree in the courtyard.


Though I had an idea but I didn’t want to believe that Lucien was still being pesky.


I encircled my arm around his and stared up at him.


"Nothing much, we were just discussing the philosophy of life."


I arched an eyebrow but then I really wasn’t interested in the conversation he had with Lucien because I knew it was pointless.


I said, "We should go, it's late, we need to get some sleep."


Damon nodded, slightly at Lucien and then turned around, we headed for his car together.


Looking at the backs of the two of them, Lucien’s heart twitched in pain as if he had been stabbed.


He couldn’t understand and accept how close the two of them were!
