"Lucien, let's get a divorce," I said in a peremptory tone that was long overdue, the most decisive farewell to this absurd marriage.

“I don't mean it like that, it's just that Lucien is feeling guilty towards you, that's why he’s being so cruel to me, as long as you forgive me, he’d be able to forgive me as well.” Carla was already standing half a metre in front of Aurora.
