Aurora stared at him.
She never expected him to have romantic feelings for her.
And she never led him on.
She wasn’t attracted to him in that way.
She stared at the younger boy.
His eyes were bright like stars shining in the night sky.
He looked nervous and serious at the same time.
His fluffy, soft blonde hair made him look like a fearless lion cub.
Though cute, it hid an innate dominance.
“Julio, I'm married, I have a husband." Aurora responded.
Her first thought was to tell him she wasn’t interested in him and reject his feelings.
But she felt he wasn’t going to take no for an answer but might try to pester her in his bid to win her over.
So saying this to him was the best excuse.
He would certainly back off knowing another man was in the picture.
Julio, however, spoke up, "Rory, I know you're single now. You’re no longer with your husband.”
Aurora swallowed.
Oh, that didn’t work.
She had to be honest with him now.
“I don’t want to be with you, Julio.”
