Chapter 117 Side Story : The Siblings

The afternoon sunlight filtered in through the gaps in the window blinds, casting a soft golden glow over Jason’s desk.

Behind a neatly arranged stack of documents, the man sat quietly, his fingers busy flipping through the pages of the latest project contract he was reviewing.

The room was quiet, with only the ticking of the clock and the soft rustle of paper.

Jason liked this kind of atmosphere when he was working. That was why he made his room soundproof, so that the hustle and bustle from outside would not penetrate him and make him lose focus.

Jason glanced over his glasses, sighed, and said flatly, “You always forget to knock,” he quipped. “And you’re always so noisy too. What’s up now, Jord?”
