OPRJ: Chapter 6

The messenger pigeons soared freely through the sky. Shortly after the Buster Call ended, Morgan, the owner of the world's largest newspaper, immediately printed the news, having received the information.

He didn't care about the Navy's authority, he only cared about big news! And with this news about Ryuya, he had two stories that were sure to drive the sea wild!

The sea was already in an uproar!

The first story was about Ryuya, the man who destroyed the Buster Call with a single sword strike. His bounty had reached a staggering 3 billion Berries. This was only his second bounty, mind you.

But compared to before, this time, Ryuya's strength had truly caught the attention of the bigwigs. After all, destroying the Buster Call with a single strike wasn't something just anyone could do.

The second piece of news was about Shiki, the Golden Lion, who had escaped from Impel Down, a prison where no one was supposed to escape. He had broken Impel Down's decades-long record of no escapes.

These two events were a slap in the face to the Navy and the World Government. It was a real double-whammy, making the Navy and the World Government desperate to regain face.

The sea became even more chaotic.

"Ohara, The Tree of Knowledge"

Ryuya had been staying at the Tree of Knowledge for a day. He held little Robin in his arms and looked at the newspaper.

When he saw the news about the Golden Lion, a voice echoed in his mind.

[Ding! Sign-in quest issued: Merveille. Reward: One random Zodiac Charm. Time limit: Five days!]

As the system's electronic voice faded, Ryuya's eyes narrowed slightly.

If he remembered correctly, after escaping Impel Down, Shiki had gone to this place. He wanted to use the IQ plants there, which could make animals go wild, to rule the world again.

Robin sensed the change in Ryuya's aura and asked him, "Ryuya, what's wrong?"

Ryuya smiled slightly and said to Robin, "Robin, I have something to do. I might have to leave Ohara for a while."

Olvia was standing nearby, and she also heard Ryuya's words.

"Ryuya, where are you going? Do you need any help?"

Ryuya took Robin out of his arms and said to Olvia, "Olvia, do you know Merveille?"

"Merveille..." Olvia repeated softly, then her eyes suddenly lit up.

"I know this place. When I was researching the Poneglyphs, I visited this island. Although I didn't leave a permanent pointer, I know how to get there! And the people of Merveille are very welcoming."

After saying this, Olvia added, "Ryuya, wait here for a moment. I'll draw you a rough map. Hopefully, it will be helpful."

Robin looked at her mother and ran to the table, then looked at Ryuya. She couldn't see his face hidden beneath the hood, but she was reluctant to let Ryuya leave, just like her mother before.

"Ryuya, will you come back? When will you come back?"

Robin tugged at Ryuya's hood, tears welling up in her eyes, as if they were about to spill.

"I'll only be gone for a while. If I have time, I'll come back to see Robin. If you promise me to train your Devil Fruit powers well, then when you grow up, you can set sail and find me. We'll explore the sea together!"

"Ryuya, you promised. You can't lie to me."

"I won't lie to you."

"Then let's pinky swear."

Robin extended her pinky finger.

Ryuya also extended his pinky finger. Their little fingers hooked together, then their thumbs touched, and Robin said, "One hundred years, no changing!"

"Yeah, no changing."

After Ryuya and Robin made their promise, Olvia handed Ryuya the map she had just drawn.

"Ryuya, Ohara will always welcome you!"

"Yeah."

Ryuya took the map and nodded softly. Then he left the Tree of Knowledge.

As he walked out of the Tree of Knowledge and towards the edge of the island,

Unbeknownst to him, he was followed by quite a few people.

They had all come to see Ryuya off. Because of him, the island was able to continue. He was their savior!

Ryuya looked at the people, his heart stirred.

When he reached the edge of the island, he turned around slowly.

Leaving was still risky. Although Ryuya knew the Navy wouldn't attack Ohara again for a while, it was always better to be safe.

With that in mind, Ryuya quickly formed hand seals.

"Wood Style – Tree World Birth!!!"

As Ryuya slammed his hands on the ground, the Wood Style's boundless vitality surged into the earth.

The roots of the Tree of Knowledge shot up again, becoming even thicker, intertwining with each other, encasing the entire Ohara.

Ryuya left only a few entrances, making Ohara an easily defensible fortress.

After doing all this, Ryuya returned to his ship and set sail for Merveille.

"The Chase Begins"

Three days passed in a blink of an eye. A dog-headed warship and two ordinary warships were sailing rapidly across the sea.

A tall, broad-chested, muscular old man stood on the deck of the dog-headed warship. His gaze seemed to pierce through the vast sea, seeing the Golden Lion Shiki's fleeing figure. He said in a deep voice, "To think Shiki, the Golden Lion, would actually break his own legs to escape Impel Down. He must have planned this long ago."

"Vice Admiral Garp, according to the information from the World Government, Shiki, the Golden Lion, seems to be heading towards an island called Merveille."

A Captain said to Garp.

"Merveille? It seems we're on the right track. Keep going at full speed. We must recapture the Golden Lion and eliminate this threat!"

"Yes, sir."

Just as Garp gave the order, the ship's navigator said to Garp, "Vice Admiral Garp, there's a ship ahead. No pirate flag, just a cloaked figure standing on the deck."

Garp frowned at the navigator's words.

He knew that there was a mysterious cloaked figure operating on the sea recently, constantly opposing the Navy.

Thinking this, Garp decided to check it out. If it was that mysterious figure, he could complete another mission at the same time...
