The Contract Marriage With Mom's Friend's Son

Jason and I have known eachother pretty much since we were kids. Both our mothers were best friends since high school. But we weren't. I found him pretty annoying and intolerable.



He is cold, rude, proud and full of attitude. He barely says anything and when he did they weren't nice. He radiated so much bad boy energy which I didn't like. I was the complete opposite. I am a little quiet but only because I am introverted. I tend to be careful with my words so I don't hurt people.



I work as a product development assistant for Glow & Grace Skincare. I really love my job. While Jason works for a big company. I don't know the name or his position there. All l know he is quite rich.



We used to be in the same class in highschool but after that we barely see. We only meet a few times because of our moms. Mostly at birthday parties, weddings or Thanksgiving.



The last time I saw him was two years ago at his cousin's wedding. He came with his girlfriend, Jessica. She's pretty like a model. Blonde, blue eyes and she smells sweet. I don't know much about her but one thing is for sure is that she hates me. I don't know why, because I never did anything wrong to hurt her.



My life wasn't perfect but at least it was good. No drama, no worries. Not until Jason surprised me with the unexpected.

He stood outside my house, drenched in the rain and asked me to marry him.



This is the last thing I have expected in my life .....
