Chapter 95: Dragon Fang Wind Claw?

Chapter 95: Dragon Fang Wind Claw?

After exchanging dozens of blows, there was still no clear winner.

"Partner, you're strong!"

DarkWarGreymon's expression gradually turned serious, a sign that he acknowledged Yamcha's strength. Every time he thought he was about to land a hit, Yamcha would narrowly dodge in an unbelievable way.

"You're stronger than any opponent I've faced in the previous world. It's hard to believe you've achieved this as a human."

Only Yamcha knew that he had already revealed his fourth trump card—Stand User!

"If I were you, I wouldn't be talking so much."

As he spoke, Yamcha raised a finger. A white energy orb flickered at the tip.

"Spirit Ball!"

All of his power focused into a single point—an ultimate energy wave that could pierce anything.

"Hyah!"

This time, DarkWarGreymon raised his right hand. The sturdy armor, gleaming with reflected light, solidly blocked the oncoming white energy. The sheer force of the blast pushed DarkWarGreymon several meters back, leaving a deep groove in the ground.

When the Spirit Ball attack ended, it left only a faint scratch on his armor—if it could even be called a scratch. DarkWarGreymon wiped it with his hand, and it vanished without a trace. Only the slight warmth of the armor indicated that the attack had made contact.

Not a match.

Yamcha decisively chose to surrender.

Even though he still had one final trump card, the result would be the same regardless.

The gap in strength was simply too great. The hardness of Digizoid was beyond anything Yamcha had imagined—unable to even scratch it, he was doomed to lose.

DarkWarGreymon hadn't even used his Gaia Force or War Tornado.

Without unlocking any hidden potential or cheats, Yamcha was no match for DarkWarGreymon. Not even the Spirit Ball, which was supposed to pierce anything, could damage his armor—not even a mark.

As expected of a Mega-level Digimon.

But Yamcha was pleased.

If this was the true strength of a Mega Digimon, then the Digital World wouldn't be as crucial to him as he once thought.

"Partner, you're already strong," BlackWarGreymon fully acknowledged Yamcha's power.

"Don't worry. I'll get even stronger," Yamcha said seriously.

"So will I!" BlackWarGreymon replied with equal resolve.

In the original storyline, DarkWarGreymon had always been confused about his purpose. But this one was different—he had firm beliefs:

To fight! To grow stronger! To protect his partner!

Training days were boring, but fulfilling. Sparring with DarkWarGreymon helped Yamcha improve rapidly. He also discovered that DarkWarGreymon could grow stronger through training.

Especially the gravity chamber—it was remarkably effective for DarkWarGreymon's development.

Training under triple gravity was incredibly intense, and the results were visibly fast.

It was hard to imagine how powerful he might become if he could one day withstand 100 times gravity.

As a reference, the protagonist Son Goku reached a power level of 180,000 after 100x gravity training. After a near-death recovery, his power soared to 3 million. Saiyan genetics really were unfair.

As for Vegeta...

No data yet—only that he completed 300x gravity training during the Buu Saga.

Yamcha had already submitted a request to the Red Ribbon Army's research division for an 8x gravity chamber, which would take two to three months to complete, even if rushed.

In the meantime, Yamcha planned to travel to another world.

Partly to develop Nen abilities, and partly to test his current strength.

Nothing tests one's capabilities better than real combat.

But Yamcha didn't plan to bring DarkWarGreymon with him. He believed he could handle it alone.

A bodyguard's purpose was to protect in dangerous situations. If one relied on a bodyguard for everything and only trained mechanically, then no matter how high your power level was, it would be meaningless—it wouldn't aid true growth and would ultimately be unstable.

The security of the Desert Base was fully entrusted to Porygon Type-2. Though it only had two Digimon—Guardmon and Load Carrier Digimon—they could evolve instantly if needed, so security wasn't a concern.

Plus, with DarkWarGreymon secretly stationed in the base, Earth currently had nothing to worry about.

Too bad that Guardmon and Load Carrier Digimon couldn't be mass-produced in the Dragon Ball world. Otherwise, building a Steel Empire Army there would be a cool project.

Not a bad idea—worth implementing in the future.

After giving a few instructions to Porygon Type-2, Yamcha went to find DarkWarGreymon, who was resting in the lounge.

Although he had tested this many times, and the Dragon Ball world always seemed to freeze when he left and resumed when he returned, he still didn't want to take chances—especially since the place he was headed was rather special.

When Yamcha entered, DarkWarGreymon was enjoying some pudding while watching martial arts videos.

Though his own fighting style differed from martial artists, DarkWarGreymon believed there's always more to learn, and studying never hurt.

For Digimon, human food was especially delicious—even DarkWarGreymon, whose only focus was battle, found pleasure in tasty meals.

His favorite?

Coffee pudding.

"Partner, that Eight-Limbed Fist technique looked pretty good. I think I could learn something like that too."

DarkWarGreymon finished one cup of coffee pudding and reached for a second. Its soft texture and hint of caffeine made it seriously addictive.

Eight-Limbed Fist?

Split Dragon Slayer into eight parts?!

So brutal?!

"And your Wolf Fang Fist—I think I could come up with a similar move... maybe something like Dragon Fang Wind Claw? What do you think?"

As he spoke, DarkWarGreymon raised his arm. His Dragon Slayer emitted a faint, chilling gleam.

Then, he promptly finished another pudding and reached for a third.

"…"

"I think that sounds good."

Yamcha offered a moment of silence for all other Digimon. After all, Dragon Slayer didn't care if you weren't a dragon. What mattered was if DarkWarGreymon thought you looked like one.

Hard to imagine what BlackWarGreymon would become after mastering martial arts.

Maybe a delinquent boss DarkWarGreymon?

Honestly… not impossible.

"Security of the base is in your hands, partner."

"Don't worry, partner."
