"Security!"
The guard hesitated no longer, stepping forward to restrain Susan.
"No! I won't go!" Susan suddenly snapped back to reality, struggling like a madwoman. Her expensive wedding dress became disheveled from her movements. "Frost! You can't do this to me! You liar! You promised to marry me! You said you only loved me!"
She tried to break through the guard's blockade, lunging towards me with eyes full of crazed hatred and utter desperation.
"You'll regret marrying her! You'll definitely regret it!"
Her screams were heart-wrenching, filled with belated remorse and the agony of loss.
So, she could feel pain after all. So, she did care.
But it was too late.
"Your love?" I shook off her hand with such force that she fell to the ground. "It's too cheap, too vicious. I can't afford it!"
"Security!" I commanded coldly. "Please 'escort' this lady out! From now on, she is not welcome at Frost Manor or any Winters Family property!"
