Chapter 12: The Alliance and Observing the Situation

After hearing the ancient story, the minds of those present were filled with questions, and various emotions appeared on their faces.

The Master of the Tower of Magic spoke:

"When I first read these ancient records, I didn't pay much attention. I didn't even think about Egypt. Its secrets were lost long ago, especially after the disappearance of mana, the weakening of magicians, and the spread of black magic, which led to their persecution and the extermination of many of them."

He quickly glanced at a particular person, but neither the Master of the Demonic Sect, the Golden Immortal Sect, nor the Shamans noticed the look. He continued:

"Even when this strange energy appeared, I didn't associate it with Egypt. I didn't think much about it. But when I received a message from the trainees who had descended into the human world and discovered that the source of this energy was in Egypt, I was shocked. That's why I decided to share this matter with you—it might be the key to uncovering the truth."

Silence filled the hall as everyone began to think.

In the minds of the trainees from the Immortal Sect:

"Everything that priest said… Could it be the world of immortality? He spoke as if he knew many of our secrets, but how?"

They also realized that this energy was not just a different kind of magic. It was unlike their power, nor was it similar to the powers of the Shamans. And yet, just one trainee from the priests managed to defeat someone at the sixth level! If that was the level of mere trainees, then how powerful were the priests themselves?!

Greed and ambition started to show on some of their faces. They imagined the power they could obtain if they uncovered this secret… Perhaps they could even attain immortality!

The Shaman Master, deep in thought, spoke:

"I believe the time is approaching."

Everyone looked at him in surprise.

He continued:

"I think you all understand from the message that this mysterious energy emerged from the pyramid and that using it requires a system different from ours, a system similar to what the ancient Egyptian priests used. However, there is still a missing piece of the puzzle… the secret of the gods, which I believe will soon be revealed. What is happening in the world now seems to have been planned long ago, and the time is drawing nearer. If we do not act cautiously, we will be the ones to lose."

He paused for a moment, then looked at everyone seriously:

"Do not let greed blind you. If you think uncovering this secret will be easy, then why have magicians failed to do so for ages?"

Then he added firmly:

"Do not forget how weak we are. The strongest among us here has not surpassed the peak of the first level, whether they are magicians or Immortal Sect trainees. As for me, even at my best, I am only at the peak of the first level in summoning sacred beings and communicating with the other world. And when the priests disappeared a century ago, that great civilization collapsed. Now, with the appearance of this strange energy, there is a high possibility that the priests will return or that the Egyptians themselves will learn how to use it."

Then he looked at everyone sharply and added:

"You have seen for yourselves how just one trainee of this energy defeated someone at the sixth level! Imagine facing more experienced users!"

Silence filled the hall as everyone grasped the gravity of the situation.

The Master of the Demonic Sect, after deep thought, spoke:

"So, what is our plan?"

The Master of the Tower of Magic looked at him and said:

"We must use the humans. We need to manipulate their governments and nations to pressure Egypt while closely monitoring the situation without directly intervening, as we still know nothing. We must remain cautious."

The Master of the Golden Immortal Sect smiled awkwardly, realizing he had revealed his greed too openly. However, he quickly regained his composure and said:

"We should also start expanding our influence within those countries and prepare to recruit new trainees whom we can use against the priests if they appear."

The Shaman Master spoke:

"And we must also research Egypt's history and gather any information that may assist us. Perhaps we can negotiate with the Egyptian priests instead of confronting them."

Then, with a more serious tone, he added:

"We need to declare a truce between all factions—the righteous sect, the demonic sect, and the magicians, both the righteous and those who practice black magic. Although the number of black magic practitioners is small, they won't fight us now, will they, Master of the Black Magic Organization?"

At that moment, a voice came from behind the Master of the Tower of Magic, speaking with a fake smile:

"I didn't expect you to make me wait this long… I might start feeling hurt."

None of the sect masters or the Shaman Master showed any surprise. They had known of his presence all along and hadn't cared much since their priority now was handling this new crisis. However, they remained cautious, prepared for any potential conflict.

The Master of the Black Magic Organization took a seat beside the Master of the Demonic Sect. It seemed they knew each other well, though their relationship was a mix of rivalry and mutual respect.

Finally, the Shaman Master spoke firmly:

*"So, our plan is clear:

No fighting among us for now.

Using human governments to pressure Egypt.

Monitoring the situation closely without direct intervention."*

Then they began discussing the final details before agreeing on how to execute the plan.

Meanwhile, in the human world…

A secret meeting was taking place between the great powers—China, America, Europe, and Russia. Egypt and other nations were not invited.

They were trying to understand what was happening, unaware that the magicians, the Immortal Sect, and the Shamans intended to use them as pawns in their grand scheme.
