Usually, pee isn't stored in the balls.

But what if it could be?

What if someone had the ability to change the body, to even modify it, so that would be the new truth of your body?

Well, it's a disgusting metaphor, but with my ability, it stands.

[Body Manipulation]

It's in the name.

After extensive research that I've forced myself to remember, I now find myself in front of a holographic area in space, akin to a character creator in a video game.

And right in front of me was that sweet little booty that belonged to me.

And now, I was going to change it.

Playing god? Hah! Depending on which pantheon, that G might not even be around to care.

But that's beside the point.

Using the hormones I sent into overdrive, I could now put the finishing touches on my body to make it the perfect Mana and Touki receptacle. This would grant me the ability to abuse my body Saya-jin style and get stronger without suffering any defects—no stunted development or long-term drawbacks.

It would strengthen the muscles, tear them with overexertion, and repair and enhance them over time.

That meant that later on, when I get strong enough, I'd have to find strong opponents to grow from, but that's a problem for a different, stronger me.

In a way, it was like granting myself Superman syndrome—but without the pesky side effects that happen in real life.

You know, side effects like a lower-than-average IQ by more than 10 points, speech impediments, learning difficulties, poor social skills, and attention issues.

I'm saving super serious brain modification for last, so I'll really need to save those brain cells.

Funny thing is, with my control over these hormones, I could probably even completely overhaul my body!

This was something that went beyond adding a couple more inches—whether on top or below... hehe.

I could change the structural quality of my very body, switching body type, height, 'length', race… even gender.

Ahem.

Let's just say that the art of espionage and disguise is one of my new fortes.

But the feat that I'm most proud of... is this:

[Body Modification: New Organ! Spirit Core]

It was a 'dormant' organ I created out of stem cells. It rested below the diaphragm, beneath the lungs and heart, but above the liver and stomach.

Currently, it lay dormant because it was 'empty.' But once it was 'filled,' it would 'activate', using a formula I wrote to supply it throughout the body as if it were a second heart, one that carried not oxygenated or deoxygenated blood, but Mana and Touki instead.

And with that finished, my work—for—now was done.

It wouldn't completely be over, but my progress was like an old-school video game before the loot boxes and quality-of-life upgrades.

'If you wanna get stronger, you have to put in the work and gain knowledge of how to do better.'

Like the old Ys games. Easy if you know what you're doing, but ass-hurtingly hard if you don't.

Anyway, this meant that the time to get physical was now.

'It's like a cyclic event,' I thought as I did my daily chores in the orphanage before heading out.

'When strength lags, it's time to gain more knowledge. And when knowledge lags, it's time to gain more strength...'

"Be safe!" Sister Kyoko gave me an energetic wave as I responded in kind.

"Yosh! Time to get busy!"

Today would be the last day I went around stealing to practice my finesse, later, I would have to find something to fight/

Kuoh Town's streets buzzed with life as usual since it was the suburbs after all. The sun sat proudly overhead, casting long shadows on sidewalks packed with lunchtime crowds, in a more curated city-like atmosphere.

Office workers hustled past food stalls, students in uniforms chattered about club activities, and tourists ambled about, snapping photos of the town's old-fashioned charm.

A perfect, chaotic canvas.

And right in the middle of it all, Daichi moved like a ghost.

I wasn't in a rush, and I wasn't too greedy. In fact, my technique was simple and refined, learned from reading and performing small bumps, brief distractions, and a flick of the wrist.

'One Hundred Yen. Just One Hundred Yen at a time.'

My speed, reaction, and finesse were all improved thanks to my previous modifications, so I decided that before I go out to fight, I ought to loosen up a bit.

-slip-

A dollar gone from a distracted schoolboy's open pocket.

-swipe!-

A dollar gone from a woman's unzipped purse as she turned to order a crepe.

-snatch!-

A dollar gone from the change tray of a vending machine just as its owner turned around to take a phone call.

"Thirty-nine," I murmured, a grin tugging at my lips. The stolen bills, folded neatly in my sock, made for a humble, harmless stack.

"Almost there. Just a few more…"

Moving in on my next target, a businessman standing outside a convenience store, checking his watch.

Reaching out, my fingers dancing like shadows before stopping.

'Who the hell is watching me?' He turned around.

"Stealing is wrong, you know."

I couldn't help but freeze mid-motion.

That voice.

Soft as velvet. Gentle as the breeze. But it struck with the force of thunder.

I turned slowly.

There, standing less than a foot away, was a woman unlike any other that I had ever seen.

Clad in a flowing white sundress, with golden hair cascading down her back and a glowing, almost ethereal aura, she stood like a living painting. Her eyes were wide and curious like a sea of emeralds full of warmth, and her smile was kind, almost motherly.

And hovering faintly behind her, barely perceptible to the average person

Were wings. Divine, pure, light. All the same

'Gabriel…' Honestly? Thanks, Mr. Murphy, and Mr. Butterfly. 'I didn't think I'd see her so soon.'

"Are you some kind of angel?" I asked, just to make sure.

"That's right, little one." She actually replied!

"I am Gabriel, an angel, a servant of our Father in Heaven."

"Wow." I replied, before attempting to take the dollar again.

She gave a small nod, her expression unchanged. "You've taken thirty-eight dollars, correct?"

"Thirty-nine, actually," I replied. "But hey, who's counting?"

"I watched you do it." She tilted her head, eyes soft but firm. "One at a time. Quietly. Very clever. But still wrong."

"Lots of wrong stuff happens around here." I nodded in agreement. Honestly, I had no interest in an argument of morality. "Its not like I mugged anyone. It's just a dollar here and there. No one even noticed."

"But that doesn't make it right." Gabriel's tone never changed, but her words carried weight. "Even small acts can create darkness in the heart."

"I can tell, this world we all live in has shown me that very clearly. But that's just life, yeah?"

Gabriel's eyes didn't waver. "But would you like someone to take from you, even a little?"

"No way!" I replied. "That's why I do the stealing instead!"

Gabriel pouted as she came even closer, her tone still calm but now laced with concern. "Your heart is heavy. You think no one will help you unless you take everything into your own hands."

"Well, I hate to disappoint you, but my reasons for stealing and my life story aren't as tragic as you think it is..." I took a long look into Gabriel's eyes.

"Buuut, I do agree with you on the second part."

"Hmmn?" Gabriel turned her head to the side, cutely.

"You see, if you can't help yourself, then you'll be forced to rely on others," I explained. "And if you're forced to rely on others, then you'll end up making more... 'compromises' and 'concessions' to keep on living"

I wasn't being bitter, however, there was some truth in my words, especially as it relates to my sickly past life on my more regular Earth where I came from.

Getting by took some long, hard work, but seeing pitying looks from others and having people patting their backs as if they were good people for putting up with me really did a number on my pride.

Who knows? Maybe it is a pride thing.

"I see... However...!" She clasped her hands and leaned in even more to the point that our faces were nearly touching. "I don't know your life's story, but I do think that you're a little bit lonely. But that doesn't mean you should take things that aren't yours! You could ask."

"Ask? People don't just give things---" I stopped mid-sentence as my brain kicked into overdrive. An idea sparked in my mind. An idea so stupid it just might work.

---There was no malice in her. No wrath. Just pure, unfiltered goodness with a dash of naivety. It was frustrating yet endearing.

However, I did realize that most of that endearment came from the fact that she was a rather beautiful woman.

'Being honest, there's hundreds of good naive guys in fiction that Iabsolutely fucking hate.'

"Alright, alright," I muttered, pulling out the folded stack of dollar bills. Looking around, I spotted a donation box outside a nearby shrine. "Here. I'll put it all back. Happy?"

Gabriel's smile widened ever so slightly. "Thank you. That was very kind of you."

I simply dropped the money into the box and dusted my hands off. "There. Done. No more petty theft from 'innocents' for today."

"For ever," Gabriel corrected.

"Uh, yeah. That too. No stealing from 'innocent' people forever.

Gabriel gave another cute pout that made me want to tease her even more.

'Ah, what a sinful brat I am...'

"By the way," He looked at her sideways. "You gonna follow me around to make sure I stick to that?"

"No. I trust you. But we will meet again."

I blinked. "Huh?"

Gabriel nodded. "You live in that orphanage that Michael visits, right? Don't worry, I visit frequently to make sure you're behaving!"

'Really...?' A rather suspicious eyebrow raised escaped my face.

"Ahem. Well… if you want me to be a good boy forever, I might need something in return."

Gabriel tilted her head again, a little more curious now. "A reward?"

He grinned. "Exactly. A trade. I stop stealing from 'innocent' people, forever, and you give me… let's say… a lock of hair."

Gabriel blinked. "My hair?"

"Or, you know, a little DNA. A fingernail, a drop of blood, anything works."

More specifically, the root skin from the strand of the hair, not the hair itself.

But I don't have to say that, now do I?

She looked genuinely puzzled. "Why would you want that?"

"For memories." I simply spoke. No need to lie. "I'll keep it and do something with it. It'll be our little secret."

Her brow furrowed. "Hmmn? But wouldn't pictures be better?"

Daichi sighed. It wasn't as if I could say, 'Hey, you're one of the most powerful Seraphs in Heaven. Your divine essence is like… premium-grade material. With just a trace of you, I could genetically alter myself to gain angelic powers!'

'I'd be a bona fide idiot if I said that out loud.'

"...I don't like taking photos..." Another 'truth'. Wasn't the most photogenic out of my sparkling compatriots back in my past life.

"I'm also planning to learn more about angels, and also expand my understanding of the world."

Gabriel blinked again. "So… you'll be a better person, and in return, you want… a piece of me?"

"Yeah. Exactly."

She seemed to seriously consider it, as though this wasn't the most obviously sketchy trade ever proposed to a celestial being.

"I suppose… if it helps you grow in a good way…" she mumbled thoughtfully.

My expression brightened as I was slightly hopeful that it would work.

"I don't really understand why it's important," Gabriel continued, tapping her chin. "But if it'll help you be better, then maybe I can give you one…"

Her hand reached up and gently tugged a golden strand from her hair. She offered it to him with a smile as innocent as a newborn's.

"Here."

My fingers trembled slightly as I took the strand. It shimmered faintly in the sunlight, like spun light.

"Uh… Thanks. I'll take very good care of it."

"I'm glad," Gabriel said, completely unaware of the potential consequences of giving magical genetic material to a madman with body-altering abilities.

Carefully tucking the hair into a small container hidden in my jacket, I spoke gratefully. "Thanks, I won't forget this."

Gabriel beamed as she grabbed me with surprising strength, and buried me in her soft, mountainous, voluptuous cleavage. "See? You can be good."

I think that was a hug, I dunno, my brain kinda short-circuited(kidding)

"Sweet holy heaven," I whispered as my face was buried in her chest. "Is this what paradise feels like?"

---Although I don't want to admit it, Issei may have had a point about breasts. It's just the way he behaves that stops people from openly agreeing with him...

(Though I still prefer thighs...)

Gabriel, still hugging him tightly, said, "You're so warm! Like a mini-sun!"

"Right… Whatever that means," I muttered, then under my breath, "At this rate, I'm gonna turn into a full-blown hero."

"Yay!" Gabriel then released me before I started to lose the ability to breathe, and I couldn't help but sigh regretfully.

She waved gently as she turned to leave. "I hope you have a lovely day, Daichi-kun! Don't be naughty anymore!"

"I won't," I saluted.

"This little light of mine~ I'm gonna let it shine~" I started to hum some church songs. "Father Abraham, had many sons, many sons had Father Abraham~"

"You've reformed me... emotionally... spiritually... biologically... maybe even chemically..."

Gabriel nodded earnestly. "That would be wonderful! If you ever need guidance, just pray. I might hear you."

"Sure. Prayer hotline to Heaven. Got it."

As she turned and walked away, merging seamlessly into the crowd like a dream, I stared at the lock of still shimmering golden hair in my hand.

"She really gave it to me…" I whispered, still in disbelief.

I then broke into a grin that made other passersbys avoid me.

"What's with the kid?"

"Is he mental?"

"Damn, such a cute kid making one demented face."

"Mommy, can you hold my hand? He's scaring me."

"Son, you're thirty-five years old. And give me your hand quickly, we should leave."

It was odd, seeing as the [Body Manipulation] would've made it so that I would secrete pheromones that would lessen vigilance, and induce friendly feelings towards me...

So now, I really wonder what I look like right now...

"kekekekekekekekekekeke---!"

Trivia Time!!! (Againx3)

Serafall one-sidedly sees Gabriel as her biggest rival.

According to female Angels that saw them, they described Gabriel's breasts as the finest breasts. (Damn, we powerscaling breasts now?)

Heavenly bicycles are produced in Heaven with the Light Power. They are harmful to Devils even by touching them. (lolololol)
