Felix Harland is a rabbit shifter from a too-big family. Without any means to support himself through medical school, he has been learning how to heal using the library. The problem with that? Felix doesn't have a license to heal anybody. 
Yet, his dream is to heal people, so he goes on an adventure that will see him find miracle cures and delve into something he did as a side hustle: alchemy and rune crafting. 
And, if he finds the enigmatic cat shifter Edward along the way, who will earn him more than one patient, that was fate.

The Hedge Healer

Jake, Edward, and Felix were all in the clinic. Jake didn't know what he was doing in here. He had been mostly unscratched, and he thought that if Beth wasn't by his bedside, and helping him pass the time, then this would be a waste of time. 


He looked at the other beds, where Felix was propped on his pillows, and reading the newspaper. The bunny had a broken leg, but nothing that some Dragon's tongue and Aname couldn't fix. He was waiting for the healers to administrate the potion on him. 


"What in the world?" Felix said, hitting the bed. "How dare he! He landed me in the hospital, when I could have blown his veins up!" 


"Pipe down, Felix. You don't want anybody knowing about that," Jake knew that if Alaric had fought fairly, then Felix would have been the one to defeat him. 


It had been smart of the bunny, to turn into his fluffy form. Such a harmless looking creature got some leeway. Alaric had underestimated how sharp bunny teeth were, and he had paid for it.
