“Rin?” Caleb was shocked to see me and even more when he realized that the huge white wolf was me.
For a small girl like me, I noticed that my wolf was bigger than him.
“Are you here to stop me?”
He shook his head, waking up from his trance. He spoke through our minds. “No… no.” He took a step forward. “You shifted.” He said in amazement.
“Then move aside.” I ignored and instead started to move.
“Rin, wait.” I instinctively stop. I still have the heart to listen to him… despite his betrayal. “I… I’m sorry, Rin. I… I’m not here to stop you. I’m going to help you.”
“Help? You must enjoy fooling me, huh.” My wolf snarled at him, reflecting my pain and anger.
His wolf whined and bowed down. He was sorry. I looked away knowing he didn’t have a choice. I was growing tired of always being so sympathetic to other people. What about me? Why am I always receiving pain?
