Nasrin
Four months later
"Clove!" I waved my hand high, practically bouncing on my toes to get her attention through the packed hallway of the university.
Clover's face lit up instantly when she spotted me, her grin stretching wide as she darted through the throng of students. "Rin!" she squealed, wrapping her arms around me in a bear hug. The joy radiating from her was contagious. "You always know the exact moment to appear!" She sighed contentedly, squeezing me a little tighter before pulling back.
I couldn’t help but laugh. Clover wasn’t just excited to see me—she was excited for what I had brought. It was our little tradition by now: me bringing treats from my culinary class, and her gobbling them up like it was the best thing she’d ever eaten. "Lasagna today," I said, teasing the bag hanging off my shoulder. "And yes, there's garlic bread too."
