30. I- won't shed a tear

12:30 a.m

Nelson was asleep in this crib. It has taken Manchester nearly three hours to put the child to sleep because whenever he places Nelson down in his crib after he seems to have dozed off, the little human wakes up Immediately and starts crying again.

This was a repeated cycle almost all night, such that Manchester could barely get a good night's rest himself and it was frustrating. Somehow, he loves his son, but he hates being a dad, or perhaps a single dad.

With Nelson finally asleep, he walked out of the bedroom and gently closed the door behind him with a sigh of relief, but after that, a stream of tears ran down his cheek which he immediately wiped off before walking up to the living room couch and making himself comfortable.

Once again, the tears returned, clouding his eyes so much that he could barely see the screen of his phone.
