He suddenly shot out of his seat with a shocked jolt. He was straight-up hyperventilating.

The tier of a class wasn't displayed by the systemic interface. However, the Awakened Association had artifacts that could measure the potential of a class, also known as its tier.

Kaiden couldn't give a flying fuck about what David wanted right now—he never did—though he did manage to calm down a bit. "I will have to register myself at the Awakened Association… Shit… My family will clown on me more than if I were to remain a commoner. What is this class?! Pornstar… I've never heard of it before."

Classes were not unique in the sense that multiple people could share the same class, though A-tiers and above were unique in the sense that only a single person possessed them.

As for the Awakened Association, it was the organization that dealt with anything related to the supernatural side of the world brought upon humanity by the arrival of the mana apocalypse in the United States of America. The association was a subsidiary of the government. They administered awakeners, helped maintain dungeon gates, acted in case of dungeon breaks, served as the middlemen between hostile guilds to retain peace, etc.

Each awakened was legally required to register in the association within a week of their awakening, or they would become criminals, which now meant that Kaiden was also forced to register himself.

The reason why Kaiden was so devastated by his newly awakened class despite dreaming of having one was that it was a civilian class. Classes could be leveled up through two methods: killing humans and killing monsters. 

One didn't gain levels from doing well in their civilian class, such as the F-tier Gardener girl with the bubbly butt was likely still level 1 and would remain so until she grabbed a spear and threw herself into a dungeon crawling with mighty monsters or killed other awakened humans. Naturally, in such a scenario, she would be nothing more than a useless weakling, a glorified commoner.

Strong civilian classes, like the aforementioned B-tier Blacksmith, would be important enough for prominent guilds to not only fight over having such a person in their ranks but also to go out of their way to create escort squads whose sole purpose was to spoonfeed XP to the smith while ensuring their safety.

Naturally, no one in their right mind would do this for a Pornstar.

Kaiden braced himself mentally to check the class's details. He expected the absolute worst.
