Chapter 117: Meeting Father

The cleanup that Cail had called for finally arrived. After they cleaned up the body, Cail walked away with his loot.

They didn't bring much—just some junk artifacts that could be used in daily life as tools. There were a few books and an ominous-looking token that seemed to be sucking the energy out of the carrier.

"They probably didn't know this either." Cail surveyed the ominous token. It slowly corroded the void energy of the carrier and ate them from the inside.

The token was made out of an unknown kind of metal. It was black, with a carving of the sun on it. The sun should be a symbol of brilliance—why was this token so dark?

For some reason, he remembered the legend that Iven had talked about. It should be Illunis, right? The dead Sun God?

"I should look into legends about gods. Since void energy exists, then maybe some of those legends are real."
