Chapter 37: Romantic Comedy

Hazel just finished talking to Darlina over the phone and she walked out of the bathroom,Her eyes dropping on Liam who looked focused on his laptop.

She walked to the bed and sat down because she wasn't feeling sleepy yet and Liam was very busy so she didn't want to disturb him.

Liam looked up from his laptop and stared at her with a small smile.

"Aren't you going to sleep?"He asked softly.

Hazel shook her head lightly.

"No, I don't feel sleepy."

"Let's watch a movie together"He suggested, shutting his laptop immediately and Hazel stared at him in surprise.

"Uhm... You seemed busy and I don't want to disturb you, I'll just sit here quietly" Hazel said, feeling a blush rise to her cheeks.

"I can't be too busy for you"He responded softly and her blush deepened.

"What type of movie would you like to watch?"He asked, picking up the remote.

"Romantic comedy, Can we watch Crazy, Stupid, Love?"She asked with bright eyes, already excited and he smiled widely loving the happy look on her face.

"Sure"

He picked up his phone too and went through the streaming app, selecting "Crazy, Stupid, Love". He connected his phone to the TV via wireless streaming and the movie began to play.

Liam lay down on the couch getting comfortable and patted the empty space beside him staring at Hazel.

"Want to join me for a cuddle?"

Hazel's cheeks flushed instantly and she hesitated for a moment cuz she wasn't supposed to get close to him, Dawson warned her not to get close to him but he wouldn't find out right?

Dismissing Dawson from her mind, She got up from the bed and walked over to the couch.

She slowly layed on the small space beside Liam who immediately wrapped his arms around her pulling her close to him.

He held her so gently but protectively like she was an egg,His right arm wrapped around her waist. His hands intertwined with hers softly and he nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck.

"You smell so good"He whispered against her neck,his lips touching her neck like a feather and her heart fluttered against her chest.

"Are you comfortable?"

"Y..Yes, You're warm"She said softly still feeling his lips on her neck.

He was about to respond when Hazel's phone started ringing, She freezed when she saw who it was and Liam frowned when he saw it was her stupid Husband.

"Don't answer it"He growled, snatching the phone from her and switched it off.

She gasped, her Eyes wide in fear when she saw that Liam had switched the phone off and he kept the phone on his laptop.

"Why did you do that?"She asked,Her eyes welling up in tears and her body was already trembling in fear.

Liam's eyes softened and he tried to touch her but she immediately stood up from the couch with her eyes filled with tears.

"You're trembling...Why are you looking so scared?"He stood up too standing in front of her but she remained silent before grabbing her phone from where he kept it and turned it back on.

"Hazel...."

"You didn't understand Liam, He'll ki...."She immediately stopped at her words and dialed Dawson's number back.

"He'll what?"Liam raised his brows, frowning lightly.

"Nothing"She shook her head and immediately walked to the bathroom to talk to Dawson in private with her heart pounding hard against her chest in fear.

Cecilia stared at the ceiling blankly, She had been trying so hard to remember her name but still nothing.

Her head begins to hurt a lot whenever she thinks much or try hard to remember something.

She felt sad cuz none of her family came to see her but what if she was an orphan? Or maybe she doesn't have siblings?

She sighed out heavily and her mind went to the cold guy Axton,His mother was so nice but he...He seemed rude,Too cold and straightforward.

The ward door suddenly opened and Axton's mother walked in with a large smile on her face holding flask of food in her hands with Axton behind her scowling as always.

"How are you doing dear?"She sat on the bed and Cecilia smiled lightly.

"F.. fine, Thank you"Her voice came out croaked, stealing a glance of Axton who frowning at her and she looked away immediately.

"I brought you food... You must be hun..."

"I'm not hungry"Cecilia interrupted her words rudely and Axton frown deepened more.

Cecilia realized that her tone came out rude and she quickly apologized.

"I.. I'm sorry... I'm just not hungry"

"It's okay dear,You can eat it whenever you want okay"She smiled nicely and dropped the flask on the table beside the bed.

"And If you like don't eat, That's your problem."Axton said coldly and his mother glared at him.

Cecilia frowned.

"Be nice Axton"She said sternly and he shrugged.

"I'm trying my best to be nice but the truth is there's just something about her that I hate a lot"

Cecilia continued staring at him, His words didn't affect her at all but she wondered silently what he hated about her.

Axton walked out of the ward immediately and His mother turned to Cecilia smiling apologetically.

"I'm sorry about what he said,Axton is really a good boy and you seem like a good girl so I believe both of you will get along soon"

"I dislike him already"Cecilia thought to herself and nodded slowly.

"Can I ask you a question?"Cecilia asked staring at her.

"Where did you find me?"

"I found you at the roadside, injured and bleeding... You were in an accident, so I brought you to the hospital immediately"Axton's mother explained, her eyes filled with concern.

"I... I don't remember anything" she admitted with a sad expression.

"Don't worry, dear. Your memories will come back in time."

Cecilia nodded and looked at her again.

"I don't remember my name too"

"How about I call you Evelyn?"She asked with a small smile and Cecilia smiled widely,feeling warmth in her chest.

"I like it,My name is Evelyn"She smiled again.

Raphael stared at the files on his desk blankly cuz his mind wasn't there, He couldn't stop thinking about Elsa since last time.

Her adorable cute face, Her blushes,Her smile,Her annoying cute voice.....He was thinking about everything and it was messing with his brain.

He instinctively reached out to grab a pack of cigarettes but he suddenly remembered the Promise he made to her and he immediately dropped it.

"If you wanna keep kissing her sweet lips, You've got to stop smoking"He muttered to himself and looked away from the cigarette.

He was craving it so bad but he controlled himself and dismissed the thought of smoking from his head.

The door to his office suddenly opened and his secretary Mary walked in staring at him hungrily but he didn't even spare a glance.

"I brought your coffee, Raphael"

She placed his coffee on the desk, intentionally leaning forward to expose her large boobs but Raphael didn't even look at them.

"It's Sir. Don't forget that I'm your boss"He interrupted coldly.

"Sir"She purred, rounding the desk to stand beside him. She eyed him seductively, her hand reaching out to touch him.

Raphael's eyes finally lifted up, staring at him in annoyance.

"What are you doing? Get your hands off me"He growled, pushing her hand away from his chest.

Mary's face fell and her eyes widened in shock.

Raphael's expression was filled with disgust and he pushed her harshly and she stumbled backwards almost falling.
