🦋 LEE GON 🦋
I couldn't help but stare and ponder on how amazingly bold she is. A few hours ago, she was trembling at the sight of me tearing humans into shreds, and now she's in front of me threatening to make my life a living hell.
It was the first time a human would stand in front of me fearlessly and speak to me in such a manner, with a normal heart rate.
"I'm speaking to you!" Nabi yelled out, elbowing me out of my thoughts.
I stepped backwards, exhaling sharply, "Do whatever you want, I already broke you out of jail, try to clear your name so you can get the hell out of here. I never said I wanted you to be here."
I turned around to leave, going into myself made cell, I locked it and threw out the key.
"What the hell is he doing?" I could hear Nabi ask Jacob.
"Locking himself up," Jacob retorted, "He's trying to stop himself from digging your heart out; I told you getting him pissed was a bad idea, he can't always stop himself from killing you."
"Oh, so now it's my fault?" Nabi snapped, "That monster killed my father."
"He's not a monster! The young boy didn't have a choice when he was turned into whatever he is now, he was just a child when he was used as an experiment by scientists, trash… so watch the way you speak to him because he's also a victim." Jacob fired back. "You see that prison right there… he locks himself up to avoid hurting people all day."
Nabi scuffed bitterly, "He should have just done the same, rather than killing my father."
Jacob rolled his eyes in disgust. "Did you see what killed your father that day? Why are you so sure Lee Gon did it? Maybe you are just after the wrong killer."
I watched as Jacob stormed out in annoyance, and Nabi also glanced at me with a look of confusion in her eyes and stormed out.
"If you have something to say, just say it," I stated, glancing at Jacob, who kept staring at me from a distance.
He stood up and walked towards me, "Why aren't you telling her you didn't do it? You didn't kill her father."
"Since when did I care about what people think about me?" I muttered.
"What if she rats you out due to anger and the urge for revenge?" he asked. "You are leaving her to get the wrong idea."
"She wouldn't, Jacob," I announced positively, "She would have told the world about me if she wanted to. She was in jail for a while, but she said nothing."
"But if you didn't kill her father… then who did?"

I stormed down the street, refusing to let the monster who killed my father go without justice. I was desperate to serve him with whatever justice he deserved, without caring about what he looked like.
I stormed into my workplace and walked towards Commander Ethan's office, ignoring my colleague's weird glances.
"I'm sorry I disobeyed you, Commander," I said, raising my right hand to my forehead, with my fingers extended and my thumb tucked in to salute. "I'm ready to make things right."
He looked at me with a satisfied grin on his face, "Oh Nabi, I knew you'd be back to your senses."
I calmly nodded, avoiding his gaze.
He stepped closer, placing his hand on my shoulder, "Attend the press conference tomorrow, announce to them that the incident, then and now, was caused by the bear, tell them you saw the bear kill your father and let this matter end, everything would go back to normal.
I bit my lower lip to suppress my anger and calmly nodded.
My nervous system kicked in as I stood in front of thousands of press, pointing their camera at me anxiously, ready to pick up everything I say.
"Is it true you are a witness? Did you witness the bear? Are you a victim of this crime? What's the government doing about this case?
I stepped forward and placed my hand tightly on the microphone, "What has been causing disaster was indeed… not a bear."
Chaos erupted as everyone gasped in shock, "It was a monster." I added. "I know who this monster is, and I also know there is an organisation there searching for him… I'll be interested in working with you."
With that, I stormed out of the conference hall, and the press swarm in after me, chasing after me to get the rest of the details they wanted.
"Can you enlighten us as to what you mean by a monster?"
I covered my face, and out of nowhere, a car drove by and pulled me in forcefully. I looked at them in confusion, and an average old man in front stated, "You called for us."
"Who are you?" I fired back.
The old man smirked, "Someone interested in the monster you spoke about… We'd like to hear what you know."
"Lee Gon is alive," I blurted out, "I know where he is… I'd like to work with you to get him."
The old man scoffed and laughed out sarcastically, "You are hired, my men will be at the same place to pick you up tomorrow."
I nodded, "What are you going to do with him when you find him?"
"I don't think that's any of your business," he snapped, "Don't bite bigger than you can chew."
I nodded and got out of the car.
As the car drove away, a weird figure covered my mouth and pulled me into the darkness. It all happened in a few seconds, so fast that I couldn't stop my head from spinning.
"Why are you going this far?" his familiar voice danced in the air.
"You went too far when you killed my father," I roared in anger.
He paced around the dark, empty street, "I'm so desperate to kill you right now."
"That's a mutual feeling," I responded sarcastically.
"Nabi, I'm not the killer you are after," he blurted out. "I didn't kill your father, I don't even know who the man is."
My skin went pale, "Sorry…"
"I didn't kill him," Lee Gon declared.
"If you didn't… then who did?" I asked, with red, swollen eyes.
Lee Gon moved closer, and I couldn't help but take steps backwards, "There are a lot of things out there, and the organisation you just joined hands with is a very dangerous one. I'll help you find who killed your father."
I didn't know if I was relieved that Lee Gon wasn't the killer, or I was pissed that I haven't found the killer, what I felt left me confused.
"None of this would have happened if you told me you didn't kill him," I yelled out.
"I didn't care what you thought about me," he yelled back. "But now, I do. I care so much about what you think about me, Nabi."
