Kelsey's POV
{BBC – 12:04 P.M.}
I should've stayed in my office and probably should've eaten that leftover sandwich I left in my desk drawer.
Hell, I should've just starved.
But no. I had to say yes to lunch.
Kate was at my door, arms folded like she was my parole officer. "Let's go," she said with zero room for negotiation.
I sighed, grabbed my blazer, and followed her out. "Where are we going?"
"The café." She replied, walking in front of me.
I blinked.
"We have a café?"
Kate scoffed.
"You've been working here for a few days now and you didn't know?"
"I don't exactly hang around chatting about where to eat croissants."
She didn't respond... just walked ahead, heels clicking with authority. I followed like some reluctant intern.
I don't hate Kate.
