Chapter 185 Gathering

Chapter 185 Gathering

Actually, it wasn't hard to find him. George Stacy is a serious person after all, and he stood out quite a bit among this group of "hippies."

Soon Yang Le spotted someone wearing a shirt who was out of place with the surroundings. Judging by his hair color and build, it was clearly George Stacy. However, what surprised Yang Le was that George Stacy didn't seem like a drunken alcoholic.

He sat imposingly at the bar, his eyes glancing at the glass cupboard opposite George Stacy. Through the reflection, he could make out the other person's appearance. Yes, it was indeed George Stacy. Although the reflection wasn't very clear, it definitely wasn't how a drunkard should look.

Moreover, George Stacy wasn't alone. Right next to him sat another black-haired strongman who was just as imposing. The two of them sitting together looked very intimidating. Not to mention hippies, even the underworld wouldn't want to provoke them.

"What's wrong, Frank?" George Stacy asked, holding a wine glass in one hand. He was just about to take a sip when he noticed his partner's unusual behavior.

"Someone is watching us," the strongman named Frank reminded George Stacy.

Yang Le could observe George Stacy through the glass reflection, so Frank must have also noticed Yang Le. George Stacy heavily put down his wine glass, wanting to see who was looking for trouble.

Turning around and seeing Yang Le, he was stunned. The question that was on the tip of his tongue was swallowed back, replaced by another sentence.

"Habby?"

"Uh, hello Uncle George," Yang Le said somewhat awkwardly, subconsciously raising his hand to greet him.

"You're back?" Contrary to what Yang Le had expected, George Stacy didn't fly into a rage, nor did he coldly ignore him. Instead, he was very peaceful, waving his hand to call Yang Le over.

"Come sit over here."

Yang Le didn't refuse. He walked over to George Stacy in a few steps and sat down. Frank, across from George Stacy, scrutinized Yang Le with a very aggressive gaze.

"Want something to drink?" George Stacy called over the bartender.

"I don't know either, you decide for me," Yang Le said. It was his first time in this bar.

"Then get a Cola," George Stacy said, seeing Yang Le's appearance, he knew he hadn't drunk wine before.

"Sugar-free or regular?"

"Regular is fine," Yang Le replied. Sugar-free? Even a dog wouldn't drink that!

The bartender was expressionless, as if he didn't find anything wrong with someone coming to a bar to drink Cola. He properly poured a cup of Cola and handed it to Yang Le.

"Is it normal to drink Cola at a bar?" Yang Le asked.

"Even if you wanted a milkshake, I could still serve it to you," the bartender replied, wiping a wine glass.

"Believe me, these mercenary guys are really weird. Some even order strawberry sundae. The main thing is, they all support me, so naturally I have to satisfy their small requests."

"Love you, TJ!" someone immediately responded from the bar, although it was a man.

Faced with such supportive guests, TJ naturally had to respond enthusiastically.

"FKY!" TJ responded, raising his middle finger.

Ignoring the liveliness over there, George Stacy started a conversation with Yang Le, asking and answering questions.

"When did you get back?"

"Just now. I went to Aunt May, and she told me a lot of things."

"Oh, it seems you know everything now."

George Stacy picked up his cup and took a sip. The amber liquid was drunk in one gulp.

"I know, but there were some discrepancies. Aunt May told me you were an alcoholic."

"At first, yes," George Stacy nodded in acknowledgment.

"But then someone woke me up."

George Stacy said, pointing to Frank Castle beside him.

"Let me introduce you, Frank Castle." Frank's right hand reached around George Stacy and extended towards Yang Le.

"Yang Le." Yang Le shook Frank's hand. The Punisher's name was still thunderous, but judging by his attire, he probably wasn't yet.

"Frank, he was originally with the NYPD like me, but later quit and became a private detective. He's also the one Aunt May and them hired to watch over me."

George Stacy nudged Frank with a punch, saying with a smile.

"But this bastard beat me up on his first day on the job. I really should tell May and have them file a complaint against you."

Frank just grinned, not minding George Stacy's tease.

"Uncle George," Yang Le called a halt to their tease.

"About Gwen, what are your ideas?"

"I was just about to talk to you about that," George Stacy said, shifting his body to face Yang Le, speaking seriously.

"Habby, like Gwen, do you also have some unique qualities?"

"Yes," Yang Le admitted frankly.

"Then I want to ask you to come and help me," George Stacy said with a pleading tone.

"You should also know that those people are not something an ordinary person can deal with. Our strength might not be enough, but..."

"I agree," Yang Le said directly, without waiting for George Stacy to finish.

"I'm very happy you agreed," George Stacy's eyebrows arched, clearly showing his happiness, but he continued to speak.

"But you should still think carefully. Those people destroyed a street."

"That's exactly why I'm here," Yang Le said firmly.

"You shouldn't underestimate a man, George," Frank said, placing his hand on George Stacy's shoulder, stopping George Stacy from saying the next sentence.

"He's heard the full appearance of things and still came to find you, which already shows he's prepared."

"Alright," George Stacy nodded, then stood up.

"Come with me, this isn't the place to talk. We have other partners waiting to meet you."

Following George Stacy and Frank out of the bar and into a car, it wasn't long before they arrived at their destination.

"We're here," George Stacy said, getting out of the car first. He had drunk wine, so Frank was driving.

Yang Le also got out of the car. As he looked up, he saw the eye-catching symbol - Oscorp.

"You should be able to guess who else our partners are," George Stacy said, patting Yang Le's shoulder.

"It's indeed not hard to guess," Yang Le said with a smile.

Sure enough, as Yang Le expected, following George Stacy and Frank taking the elevator to the top floor of the building, Yang Le saw two familiar faces.

"Hi, Peter, Harry," Yang Le greeted.

"Habby!" Peter and Harry said in unison, although Peter was more excited.

Peter put down the work at hand and jumped over to Yang Le, clearly not an ordinary person.

"You look the same as before," Peter said. He was just about to give Yang Le a hug when he was stopped by Harry, who was behind him.

"You're crossing the line, Peter. Habby's first hug can't be from you," Harry said seriously.

"Ah? Right, right, right!" Peter immediately realized that Harry was talking about Gwen.

"You guys are quite different from before," Yang Le shook his head, ignoring their tease.

Not to mention Peter, who had been injected with the Lizard Serum, Harry, who could keep up with his movements, was definitely not normal either.

"Puberty, you know, we developed a bit," Harry said with a smile, then pointed to George Stacy and Frank behind Yang Le.

"Uncle George and them have also developed for the second time."
