Promise me

The journey was long and far but Tommy was able to find the lee’s in the mountains. He parked his car and got out walking to their camp but stopped by men walking towards him so he stopped a few feet away to show them he was not a threat.

“Who are you?” one of the men said, eyeing Tommy.

“Im looking for Esme Shelby-Lee” he told them.

“Never heard of her” Tommy held out money in the air.

“I don't want trouble i need her help” just then Esme came out walking past her men and straight to Tommy taking the money from his hand.

“You only found me cause I let you find me” she spoke tucking the money in her pocket “i heard you were looking for me and i'm curious” Tommy stood silent before he pointed past her.

“Tell them to leave,” Esme scoffed.

“You think I'm in charge here” she told him.

“Oh i'm sure of it Esme” he told her as she smiled and turned her head to the men.
