In the third year of our marriage, after Alaric failed to convince me to agree to an open marriage, he started messing around.
When I barged into the VIP club to confront him for the 99th time, Alaric asked me to dance in place of his new fling who was on her period.

Until my leg injury flared up, and blood pooled beneath my feet, covering the floor.
He left with his new girlfriend in tow, "If you don't want kids, don't hold others back from living their lives."
That night, I had both legs amputated and ended up in a wheelchair.
His new flame Scarlett, however, sent intimate photos of their vacation together.
Alaric didn't know that I miscarried because I had ovarian cancer.
He was even more clueless that the cancer had already spread to my legs. The lingering limp was actually a blessing in disguise.

The 99th Time Catching Him

Alaric denied his signature on the stock transfer documents at the press conference.


"All of this happened because my butler misappropriated my company seal without authorization. I have never granted anyone permission to use my seal."


"I personally did not agree to transfer my shares in the Harrington Family Group."


"Therefore, I believe those stock transfer documents have no legal validity and should be nullified."


His words still rang with conviction, but the dark circles under his eyes betrayed his frazzled state.


The reporters below had recorded the information they wanted and were preparing to leave.


Suddenly, the butler appeared. He produced a recording, declaring, "I can prove that Alaric granted me authority to use the company seal. All those stock transfer documents are valid!"


"Mr. Harrington, the shareholders are gathered at the house demanding an explanation about the Carlisle family's refusal to cooperate. What should we do?"
