Missing Evidence and Rising Suspicions

Chantel and Henry stood frozen in place, their eyes locked on the empty drawer where the crucial evidence had been stored. A sinking feeling settled in the pit of their stomachs as the reality of the situation dawned on them. The evidence was missing.

"This... this can't be possible," Henry muttered, his voice thick with disbelief. His hands balled into fists as frustration flared in his eyes.

Chantel, already seething, let out an exasperated cry. "Of course, it's possible! This is exactly why I wanted to keep my eyes on Claire and Andrew! I knew something like this could happen!" Her voice rose with each word, fueled by anger and a sense of betrayal.

Henry turned to her, his expression darkening. "Claire and Andrew have nothing to do with this," he said firmly, though there was a flicker of doubt in his voice.
