Ji Rui gazed out the car window, lost in thought, while Yang Sheng, who hadn't seen Ji Baby for a few days, decided to go with Ji Rui to the kindergarten to pick up Ji Baby.
Today, Ji Rui was even more silent than usual, and Yang Sheng assumed he was tired.
"How is it, having Ji Baby move over, exhausting?"
Apart from Ji Baby, Yang Sheng had never had much interaction with other children, and thinking about Ji Baby's energetic nature, he assumed Ji Rui had been worn out last night.
"Not bad!"
Ji Rui's gaze remained on the scene speeding past on the road.
Yang Sheng's overly bright smile when talking about Le Tong left Ji Rui feeling uncomfortable. He couldn't understand how his ten-year friendship with Yang Sheng could be shaken by a small gift box from Le Tong.
Yang Sheng merely thought the old man was upset with him over Ji Baby, so he asked with concern.
"You took Ji Baby away, any reaction from the old chairman?"
"None!"
