Isabella shook her head: "It wasn't him, he was just helping to act yesterday, it wasn't real."
Cora burst into tears: "Isabella, I don't want you to leave! We've just started getting along, I don't want to change partners!"
Isabella forced a smile and wiped away her tears: "It's okay, we will still be friends. In the future, don't be so reckless, think more before you act."
Cora cried even harder.
But she was just a small waitress, unable to change the outcome, and could only watch helplessly as Isabella packed up and left.
Isabella left the club and drove back to school.
Though angry, she was not desperate, after all, Christopher wasn't doing this for the first time.
Throughout her four years of college, every time she worked part-time, he would ruin it because he thought it would be embarrassing if people knew his daughter had to work to support herself.
But he wouldn't give Isabella a single penny; in all these years, he only gave her that watch.
