Chapter 138: The Old Lady Visits

Isabella Weaver couldn't adjust her routine for a while; she didn't feel sleepy at night, and ideas flowed like a spring, designing some quite good necklaces.

It wasn't until daylight that she felt sleepy.

After tidying up her sketches, she took a shower and changed into pajamas, ready for sleep when Connor arrived.

"Young Madam, Young Master asked me to bring you breakfast!"

Isabella was incredulous: "Didn't you go with him on his business trip?" She had noticed over the days that Connor was Harry Hunter's right-hand man, always by his side.

Connor smiled and said, "I was supposed to go with Young Master, but he's worried you won't eat breakfast, so he left me here to take care of you."

Isabella remained silent.

Did Harry Hunter leave even his right-hand man for her?

After sending Connor away, Isabella faced a large table of delicious food, but, for the first time, ate without savoring the taste.
