I was the sword they raised. The shield they hid behind.



And when the war was over, they buried me—cold steel in my back, smiles on their faces.



But death couldn’t hold me. The abyss welcomed me, whispered truths I should’ve seen all along.



I came back wrong. Twisted. Tainted. Stronger.

Not to forgive. Not to understand.



I’ve forgotten what mercy feels like.

Now, I carve my name into their screams.
