7: THE PARTY CONFESSION

It had now been about three weeks since Keshav came to the forest.

His leg was healing much faster, probably due to the Magic herbs Yashvanth was using.

Nikki's wings were healing much faster too, faster than Keshav's leg since she was a fairy. He had heard Devrath tell her that she would be flying in a few days.

Yashvanth hadn't been talking to him much ever since the awkward kiss, although Keshav had caught him staring at him a bunch of times.

Keshav had given up any hope, specially after knowing humans weren't even allowed in the forest. He had to go home anyways, and forget about anything that happenned. Although he was here to stay till the boy's birthday, which, according to Nikki, was not something to be missed.

Yashvanth wasn't any better either. He was sitting on the top branches of their tree. Where you got a good view of the jungle, no one to disturb and a good place for some alone time to relax.

After sometime, Devrath came and sat beside him.

"Are you just gonna be all miserable and avoid Keshav all day?" He asked.

"I'm not avoiding him" Yashvanth said.

"Oh yeah" Devrath scoffed. "I know you're having some hard time with your thoughts, and avoiding the guy you love"

"Bhrata Dev, how do yo-"

"Yash! We've been together since birth I know you more than you know yourself!" He chuckled.

"What's the point anyways, He's a human. We can never be together." Yashvanh said. "You should know that, of all people. You had to let go, ultimately"

"Yash, I made a mistake" Devrath said, tearing up. "Please don't make the same mistake I did..." He said.

Yashvanth hugged Devrath as he started tearing up.

"Anyways I'm going to Dhreriya's" Yashvanth said after sometime. "You coming?"

"For what?"

"We wanted to have a good birthday party this time, remember?" Yashvanth said. "And who's the best party planner in the forest?"

"Aaah, right!" Devrath said.

Timeskip The Party

Dheriya was certainly the best Party Planner in Forest. And that's what anyone who came to the party would say.

For starters, there was huge tub outside which had a mix of so different types of Alcohol and fruits. Instead of the traditional Fairy lights, there were real pixies that glowed and moved about. Confetti would fly out here and there whenever things got boring.

The food was amazing. There was drums of hell which made you breathe real fire, like a Dragon. Then there was these Chocolate frogs, Bertie Bott's every flavour beans,pumpkin pastries and stuffs like that, and Ramen that made literal steam come out of your ears. Dheriya had also somehow managed to get his hands on some dragon meat.

Keshav was drinking the cocktail and watching the pixies fly about. He was amazed at the party, although he was trying to ignore Aman and Kavya making out intensely right beside him.

He suddenly felt a back hug, really tight.

"There you are, Keshavvvv" Yashvanth whispered right in his ears.He was reeking of alcohol. He had thought it would be a good idea to finish two bottles of the homemade alcohol before the Party, while taste testing the drink from the large tub. And there wasn't a time during the party he didn't have a drink in his hand.

In short, Yashvanth was DRUNK.

"How do you feeeellll right now?" Yashvanth said, pointing at his leg.

"It's almost healed." Keshav said. "I guess I'll be going home in a few days" He said.

Yashvanth choked on his drink. "Whaaaa???"

Keshav sighed. "I can't stay here forever, right?"

"Whyyyy???" Yashvanth said.

"Well, I heard Kaal-" Before he could complete, Yashvanth lifted him up and flew to the top branches of a tree.

"Whahadhhe sayin'?" Yashvanth said

"Kaalesh was saying--"

"Who cares what that vampire says???" Yashvanth held his hands. "Don't go... please"

"I don't want to" Keshav mumbled.

"Please stay" Yashvanth said, now creasing his face. "Damnn Keshav, you look even more handsome in the moonlight! More handsome than an Apsara" he said, stroking his lips. "AISHHH FUCK THE FOREST RULES FUCK THAT BLOODY KESHAV I LOVE YOU!!!!" He said.

"What did you say??" Keshav asked.

"Keshav I can't resist anymore" Yashvanth said as he crashed his lips into his.

They kissed for real this time. Keshav could taste the alcohol.

"I'm sorry" Yashvanth said pulling "Should've asked you-" He was stopped midway. By Keshav's lips.

"You're the reason I want to stay, Yash" Keshav said.

"Y-Yash?" Yashvanth blushed. "I don't usually like people calling me that"

"Sorr-"

"-But I love hearing it from you" Yashvanh said as he pulled Kehsav in a hug.

They flew back down to the party, where the live band just happenned to be playing romantic songs.

Yashvanth pulled Keshav to dance. Everyone else had paired up to dance

Tejas and Dhruv, ofcourse. Then the Nymphs Veer and Sanya. Aman, ofcourse was with Kavya. Kavya's brother, Ishaan, was dancing with Nikki. Devrath had casually paired up with Shaurya, and Rudra with Raghav.

While dancing, Yashvanth slowly started making his way to the back of the house. But not before noticing Veer and Sanya leaving.

"You guys are leaving?? So fast??" Yashvanth asked. "Just stay for some more time!" He said.

"Yashvanth we gotta go!" Sanya said.

"But why?" Yashvanth wined.

"Well, Sanya is not well" Veer said.

"That's what you said LAST TIME!!" Yashvanth said.

"My health has not been well these days" Sanya said.

"And the loud music and the cold isn't helping" Veer said. "Not good for them" He pointed at Sanya.

"Them? I only see Sanya Di" Yashvanth said.

"I need rest" Sanya said. "Actually, WE need rest" She rubbed her belly.

"OOHHH GOOODDD YOU'RE PPREGANT??"

"Shhhhh I'm telling you because I trust you!" Sanya said. "It's been 5 months, but don't tell anyone!" She said.

"I promise!" Yashvanth pinched his throat. "Kay then, get going now" He said. As they left "Sorry Keshav" Yashvanth pulled Keshav towards the back.

They kissed again.

"I'm so glad the monkey tried snatching my locket" Keshav said flashing his golden locket, which glistened in the moon light.

"And had you not been chased by the Kappa" Yashvanth said, brushing his fingers against his hair.

Yashvanth was lost in Keshav's eyes when he was startled by giggles and footsteps coming their way. The boys hid in the bushes.

It was Nikki and Ishaan.

"This place..." Nikki said. "We're completely safe here"

"Are you sure?" Ishaan said and kissed Nikki.

"What the fu-" Yashvanth said.

"Yashvanth, calm down" Keshav said.

"Ishaan you go' me, right?" Nikki said.

"Are you sure Nikki?"

"Hmmm... I want to do it" Nikki said as Ishaan proceeded to almost bite her neck.

"GET OFF MY SISTERRRRR YOU BLOOD THIRSTY CREATURE!!" Yashvanth came out of the bush, startling the teenagers. "ISHAAN GET YOUR HANDS OFF NIKKI" He was scolding them. "AND NIKKI YOU'RE JUST 17 AND TENDER! YOU ARE FUCKING YOUNG DON'T THINK OF DOING SUCH STUFFS"

"Sorry... Bhrata Yashvanth" Ishaan said.

"Sorry Yashvanth da" Nikki said

"GET.OUT.OF.HERE" Yashvanth said. "OUT!"

The teens ran out.

"Damn you're strict" Keshav chuckled.

"She's a kid, we gotta keep her in line." Yashvanth said.

The rest of the night was a blur to Yashvanth

He woke up the next morning with a hangover. Keshav was cuddling him in his sleep. Yashvanth chuckled lightly thinking of, what he presumed, a dream. He ruffled his hair. Keshav fluttered his eyes and opened it. Yashvanth quickly withdrew his hand.

Keshav held his hand and put it back on his head.

"This feels good" He said.

"You know,I had an intresting dream yesterday." Yashvanth said.

"It was not a dream"

"What?? It surely was" Yashvanth chuckled. "Although it did feel real" He said, touching his lips "I don't think you would-"

Keshav kissed him. Now that he was sober, he could feel the soft, tender lips.

"Yash, It's not a dream" Keshav said.

"Aishhhh, not this early in the morning" Nikki got up from behind Yashvanth.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" He asked.

"There was NO PLACE!!" Nikki said.

"How about your makeshift bed??"

"Tejas da and Shaurya Da are sleeping there. Dhruv Da got drunk and passed out on the couch" Nikki said. "So just, get some space"

"Why don't you give us some space" Yashvanth told her. "Out of my nest!"

"Da, I wanna Slee-"

"Out, out!" Yashvanth made her fly out.

"Daaaa" Nikki said irritated.

"Now just make me some hangover broth" Yashvanth said. "Gundruk soup, to be precise"

"I don't know how to!" Nikki shouted.

"At 17?? you should know!!" Yashvanth said.

"But yesterday you told me I'm 'JUST' 17 and tender??" Nikki said.

"To go about kissing guys not to cook!" Yashvsnth said.

"NIKKI WHAT??" Raghav woke up with a start.

"Oooh. Don't ask me what she would have done if I'd not caught her" Yashvanth said. "With that brother of Kavya, Ishaan."

"Owwww.... Did someone call me?" Ishaan said, emerging out from the dark closet.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??" Yashvanth said.

"It was getting bright outside. So we decided to stay" Ishaan said.

"What do you mean we?"

"Ishaan, did you forget this table is quite low?" Kavya was chuckling from the compartment above, Aman beside her.

"I just hope you guys didn't suck anyone's blood while they were asleep!!" Yashvanth said.

TANG

Nikki dropped a pan to the ground.

"Who's making so much noise??" Devrath got up from his bed.

"I'm NOT GONNA MAKE A HANGOVER BROTH!" Nikki said. "Moreover, I'm Sleepy"

"Yeah cause you must be doing you know what with Ishaan all night!" I said.

"You guys what??" Kavya said.

"Di, we didn't do anything!! There are so many people here and besides, we were sleeping separately!" Ishaan chimed in.

"Ishaan and Nikki, really??" Devrath said.

"Yes Devrath da. Us" Nikki said.

"You? with A guy??"

"Devrath Da I'm 17, I can do what I want!" Nikki said.

"No, no, I'm not taking about that" Devrath said. "You just don't seem to be the type to date a Boy.Being the masculine girl you are."

"Yeah I never thought you'd be straight" Tejas added.

"I'm not" Nikki said. "I'm Bisexual. And genderfluid."

"Gender- what?" Yashvanth asked.

"Gender fluid." Ishaan got off his bed and went beside Nikki. "Which means I got the coolest girlfriend, and the hottest boyfriend" He smirked as he out his arm around Nikki. "At the same time. With the same person" He said.

"Wait- does that make Nikki our brother? Or Sister? or what?" Yashvanth said.

"Kinda both" Nikki said. "Or none. It's flexible" they shrugged.

"Will y'all quiet down?"

Dheriya was sleeping near the fireplace.

"Is the whole forest here or what?" Yashvanth said.

"I stayed till really late so decided to crash in here" Dheriya said.

"Anyways, I'm up for the day now" Yashvanth got up. Keshav got up after him.

Keshav went to the bathroom to wash up.

Yashvanth was stretching his wings.

Devrath got up and went to the fireplace to make tea. Nikki was sitting holding hands with Ishaan. Earning some side eyes from Yashvanth

"I'm going to take bath" Yash said and went to the bathroom.

"Wait a min-" Devrath said.

"See ya!" Yashvanth rushed in.

"Isn't Keshav there?" Devrath said. "Hold up!"

"Devrath da, how do you think Yashvanth da caught me behind the house yesterday?" Nikki smirked. "Why else would he be there"

"Woahhhhhhh" Devrath gasped.

Keshav was sitting in the spring when Yashvanth walked in

He undressed himself wearing nothing but boxers, got into the spring and back-hugged him. He nuzzled his neck and started kissing it.

"So, now you have a reason to stay for some more time right?" Yashvanth asked.

"Yes. I have you." Keshav said.
