Ereshgal was born under omens—marked by the gods, worshipped by mortals, destined to rule.
But even a crowned godling fears death.
Desperate to escape his fate, he defies the divine and drinks from a power older than the heavens themselves—crimson, cursed, eternal.
Now immortal, he walks through centuries haunted by blood, betrayal, and the price of what he’s become.
This is the story of the first vampire. Of the king who chose damnation over death.
And of the world that will burn because of him.
An absolute gem. I didn't think I would find something like this from a new author. If you're looking for something new, you need to try this. Absolutely recommended. Keep it up!
The power system here is seriously cool. Instead of your usual magic, people make pacts with gods and it looks interesting. I like how the MC is introduced and the direction the story is taking. Especially with a character who currently has no easy means and must progress through his own efforts, with nothing given to him. Despite using AI (as the author clarifies) to help translate the novel, it is very well written and it is easy to read and understand. I'm waiting to see how this story continues!! I really recommend you give the first chapters a chance. [img=recommend]
This review is both an expression of appreciation and a vote of confidence. The content so far is, in my opinion, highly enjoyable. The brief glimpse into the future in the first chapter leaves many questions and expectations lingering, proposing the "how", which drives the reader forward. I trust and hope the author will explore the vast potential of this universe, giving it the profound lore it deserves. Great potential!
