SFX: BZZZ BZZZ

Joile (on phone, serious tone):

Yes, sir. Got it. I'm on my way.

Scene: Rena in the hallway, confused as Joile puts on his uniform.

Rena:

Babe… I thought you had the week off?

Scene: Joile adjusting his badge, looking guilty but determined.

Joile:

I did, but an emergency came up. The department needs all hands on deck.

Scene: Rena hugs him tightly, not wanting to let go.

Rena (softly):

But your wounds… they haven't even healed yet.

Scene: Joile kisses her forehead with a small smile.

Scene: Rena lets go, arms crossed, pouty.

Rena:

Alright, alright… but don't make me wait all night.

Scene: Joile exits the house.

Joile (teasing):

Wouldn't dream of it. Bye, babe!

SFX: CLICK (door closes)

Scene: News report. Blurry photo on screen shows the "rabbit mask girl" in pink skirt, boots, bandages, axe in hand.

Reporter (on TV):

The mystery savior, dubbed "Echo," took down all the terrorists solo.

Scene: Rena leans forward, watching intensely, a twisted grin forming.

Rena (thinking):

They're calling me a hero? I only went for Joile…

…but I guess Echo's got a nice ring to it.

Scene: TV continues with dramatic music and replay.

Reporter:

No trace, no prints—nothing but bodies and a bloodied axe.
