CHAP.0-7: The last days of the DarknessDays(7)

Valen raised his right hand towards the sky. A sphere of crystallized mana slowly formed.

"Star Magic - verse four, fifth line: astral deflagration"

A neon blue ray, as wide as the crater of a volcano, split the sky by roaring. The pure energy tore the red clouds gutting the sky until it let nothingness glimpse.

Rhazak finally turned his head, looking annoyed.

"More noise? "

He raised a hand lazily. A huge black shield materialized in front of him and Myrren.

BOOOOOM!

The impact made the earth tremble, projecting a shock wave so violent that the air and trees vibrated.

Then... a shrill crack, then another, another and so on.

Rhazak's shield exploded in a thousand dark shards. The astral deflagration, diverted from his trajectory, brushed his face.

SSSSSCHHHH—!

The hot breath pulled out a few strands of black hair from Rhazak, reducing them to ashes. The rest of the spell spun towards the ocean beyond the forest, where it crashed into a bluish light, triggering a small tsunami.

A heavy silence fell.

Myrren blinked, surprised.

"Oh. It looks like he really touched you." she said, looking mockingly.

Rhazak slowly touched his ear. He felt a sensation he had forgotten a long time ago, he looked at his hands and saw black blood on his fingers. His mask, slightly cracked, concealed his expression... but his eyes became even blacker. An absolute black, similar to nothingness.

"Watashi wa kare o koroshimasu" he said in a threatening and chilling voice.

Myrren smiled and hid his mouth behind his hand.

"It looks like he really made you angry, so that you start speaking in your unknown language. "

"Are you right, so leave me alone, I will personally take care of this insect," Rhazak added in a threatening deep voice.

His murderous gaze staring at Valen.

Myrren, looking amused, smiled slyly and looked at the battlefield. His strips floated around her like snakes.

"I'm not going to get in your way. I'll leave it to you... I have other interesting insects waiting for me," she said excitedly while biting her finger.

While the disciples had just appeared, paralyzing and destroying all air supports. Soldiers, frozen by fear, retreated. Even the monsters had stopped, frightened by these two entities.

Raiden took a step forward, his gaze fixed on the sky.

"Go back! ALL! He shouted at the army.

"They are not opponents like the others! They are disciples of Yshvar... Magi of support, concentrate the magic shields! Soldiers take the opportunity to eliminate as many monsters as possible while they are still frozen! "

"Sylpha! Kaelis! Garran! With me! "

The three fighters emerged from still smoking lines, ready to face the disciples.

But Valen abruptly stretched out his arm, erecting a barrier in front of them, without even looking away from Rhazak.

"Not this time guys. This fight is mine. "

His tone, usually calm, vibrated with an icy and threatening determination.

"I will make him pay for despising my creations. And I want to do it alone," he said in a threatening voice.

Raiden frowned, but looking at Valen, he immediately recognized in his gaze this unwavering will that could not be extinguished. He sighed slightly and stepped back slowly, letting him do it.

But suddenly, the sky darkens suddenly, as if a supernatural night had fallen.

A shiver ran through the army, when Myrren slowly descended from the heavens, carried by her strips, floating around her like hungry demonic snakes.

His smile widens, revealing an unhealthy joy.

"Look at them... these faces distorted by fear... I love it. "

And without warning, his strips darkened.

SCHLACK — CRACK — SPLASH!

They crossed the breasts and butter.

Screams sounded, soldiers and knights were pierced, slaughtered, gutted and quartered.

One of them wrapmed around a soldier, lifted him into the air... before tearing him in half, in a wet crack. Blood splashed on the surrounding faces.

Myrren licked her lips, a high-pitched laugh echoing under the red rain.

"Scream for me... Yes... It's so beautiful..."

"You are so pathetic... did you really think you could invade our lord's home without paying the price?" She said with a blooming face with a wide mocking smile on her lips.

Sylpha, already on guard, took a step forward, followed by Kaelis, their shiny weapons ready to jump.

"We take it in pliers," says Sylpha calmly.

But as they prepared to attack, a golden flash split the atmosphere. A wave of mana swet on the battlefield.

CLANG!

Dozens of strips were repelled at once, as if hit by an invisible force. A silhouette had just intervened.

Aryna

His armor shone despite the ashes that fell from the sky. She stood with calm and authority, her eyes became golden, shining with a divine intensity, fruit of her strength and the activation of her stigma, her gaze fixed on Myrren. His aura made the air tremble. His sword, made of a bright white steel, vibrated with incredible power.

"Your little game stops here... bitch," she said, in a threatening but contained tone.

The ground cracked under his feet. The rage she repressed was palpable. She could have thrown herself at Myrren immediately. But she was contained by discipline.

Myrren, stopped in her momentum, fascinated.

"Ohhh... That's getting interesting... A little lioness with a murderous look. "

His smile became wider, more Machiavellian, his strips waved again, impatient.

"I like you. You shine with anger... I feel the hatred vibrating in your veins. Come on, show me what your moans of pain look like," she said excitedly while licking her lips.

But behind Aryna, the four heroes were preparing to intervene.

Kaelis, dark blade unsheathed.

Sylpha, sparkling mind already awake.

Garran, clenched fists, tense muscles.

Raiden, one hand on guard, ready to split the air.

They were going to intervene.

But Aryna abruptly stretched out her arm.

"DON'T TAKE A STEP FURTHER! "

His voice tunded like an order, heavy with mana and power.

The air vibrated. Even the heroes, yet the most powerful, were nailed to the place.

"I'm in charge of it. She is mine. She dared to massacre my men. "

Raiden wanting to protest says:

"You're sure? "

A little silence reigned. Then she pointed her sword at Myrren, her gaze filled with determination.

"I and my squad have already had to face a disciple and several other dangers. Even if they are all different, we can succeed in facing him with equal weapons," she said in a calm tone.

"You, go and go face Yshvar, this battle cannot be won if you waste your energy here. "

She turned to Raiden. His voice became softer, almost trembling with restrained emotion.

"Father... go ahead. Lead the soldiers into the forest and kill this fallen god, free the earth from this curse. I... I swear I'll join you soon. "

Kaelis burst into a contained little laugh. He slowly re-sheathed his blade, his dark gaze still fixed on Myrren.

"Very well, Aryna. I guess we can let you have some fun. "

Sylpha nodded, her green eyes shining with a complicit glow.

"I wanted to cut his head... but I guess I can leave you this dance. "

Garran hit his fists against each other with a smile.

"She will regret smiling. Annoying Raiden's daughter was a mistake. "

Raiden, stared at his daughter for a moment. Then he tilted his head slightly, a glimmer of pride in his eyes.

"Don't die. "

He waved to the others. "We're going. The forest awaits us. "

And all rushed into the woods, escorted by handpicked soldiers.

While some of the soldiers followed the heroes deeper into the forest, an explosion of aura sprang from Aryna's body.

Her elite squad joined her, ten elite soldiers wearing the armor of the order of exterminators placed themselves around her, each radiating a raw power, an almost palpable inner fire. Their eyes were determined. Not an ounce of hesitation.

The human soldiers looked at the scene in front of them with fear mixed with hope.

Aryna advanced with a firm step, her squad behind her. They formed a perfect circle, synchronized as a single being.

Myrren watched them with delight, licking his lips.

"Mmmh... It's rare that I'm offered such a feast. "

She turned on herself, dancing on the corpses. His strips trembled with excitement, soaked in blood.

"Come closer…Come here…Let me taste your magnificent cries."

She burst out laughing, a sharp, broken, unhealthy laugh, which was heard in the plain like the song of an ancient demon.

Aryna placed herself in front of her men.

His aura exploded. His eyes burning with an even more golden glow and golden luminous forms in the form of wings adorned each end of his eyes.

The blade of his sword was covered with a golden aura and pointed it in the direction of Myrren and said:

"I'm in a hurry bitch, so do me the pleasure of dying quickly," she said in a threatening and icy tone.

Myrren looked at Aryna with delight and envy, hiding her sneaky smile behind her hands, then leaned slightly, as if to greet, an elegant and absurd gesture at the same time.

"I will kill you nicely, golden lioness... as we fold a flower between two fingers... and I will make you my most beautiful work of art." she said with a wide mischievous smile.

Suddenly the ground split under his steps. Myrren threw his strips like whips.

TINK!

Aryna para with her blade, cutting the strips one by one with surgical precision.

MEANWHILE IN THE SKY:

In the sky cracked, above the battlefield, the raging wind took away ashes and lightning.

Valen was floating in the air, his cape slamming behind him. His piercing blue gaze was focused on Rhazak.

"I will show you... the price of your contempt for humans. "

He stretched out his arms.

The sky rumbled. Rings of energy formed around him, pulsating like planets in orbit.

"Star Magic - Verse Seven, Fourth Line: Crown of the Abyss"

A circle of bluish stars appeared above him. Cosmic lightning fell on Rhazak at an insane speed.

But the enemy still didn't move.

Rhazak slowly raised his hand. A shadow mirror formed in front of him. The stars hit, exploded... one, two, three... then were absorbed.

But after the absorption of the stars, an almost invisible crack appeared at the edge of the mirror, and a few moments later, the crack widened and the mirror eventually burst into several pieces.

A frightening silence. Then Rhazak spoke.

"You are just one of his miserable insects who think they are strong... just because they have received the blessing of the supreme God. "

"I hope you enjoyed your attack. Because this is the last time you will raise your hand. "

After his words he disappeared.

"That's for my ear." whispered Rhazak who had just appeared behind Valen.

Valen barely had time to perfectly set up a barrier. Rhazak was already behind him, hitting him with a punch covered in a dense black flash.

BOOM!

The blow made Valen retreat, and he spat blood.

"Tss..."

But he smiles.

"Looks like I'm going to have to take you seriously. "

Rhazak floating in front of him, only looked at him indifferently and contemptuously.
